Edward Dewayne Harned

Edward Dewayne Harned, 74, of Paducah passed away at 5:48 PM on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital.
 
Mr. Harned was a retired firefighter for the city of Paducah and a member of East Baptist Church.
 
He is survived by his son, Andrew C. (Amanda) Harned of Paducah; one brother, Mark (Debbie) Harned of Paducah; two sisters, Brenda Holt of Marshall County, and Ronda Beckenbaugh of Marshall County; three grandchildren, Brayden Hill, Bailee Hill, and Brynlie Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward and Ruby Nell Harned; and one sister, Karan Qualls.
 
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Thomas Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
 
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at the funeral home.
