Carolyn Beauton Nelson, 71, of Paducah passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Carolyn was a homemaker and a member of Free Gospel Church in Paducah.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Nelson of Paducah; one daughter, Debbie Thompson Collins of Paducah; two step daughters, Johnna Seibert (Rex) of Paducah and Michelle Ramage (Mark) of Paducah; two sisters, Diane Thompson of Paducah and Sheila Davis (Randy) of Kevil; five grandchildren, Austin Collins (Tessa), Nicole Collins, Jordan Farmer, Megan Seibert, and Ally Seibert; four great grandchildren, Ava Francis, Chandlee McReynolds, Dylan McReynolds, and Harlow Collins; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Beauton (Smith) McKendree; one son, Eddie Thompson; and one sister, Sharon Craven.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Pastor Todd Hawkins and Pastor James Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
