Mr. Allen Bernard Mann or known to many as "Bunny" or "Tree", age 64, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Mills Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Allen was born on May 4, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Cyrus and Willie John Mann. He transferred to Murray State in the late 70's and played basketball for the Racers at Murray State University.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Mann and a sister, Joyce Ann Brown. Those he leaves behind include a son, Allen Bernard Jenkins, "BJ" of Detroit, Michigan; a daughter, Courtney Challyis Hamilton, husband Marcus of Murray; five brothers, Victor Mann, wife Twjuana of Detroit, Jeffrey Mann, Cyrus Leon Mann, Jr., Sam Simmons, Tyrus Mann; four sisters, Lynn Rose Lewis of San Diego, CA, Jocelyn Victoria Mann-Lee, husband Ernest of Detroit, Jessica Shawn Mann of Gunstown, Mississippi, Terri Jacobs, husband Leonard, Sr. of Georgia; grandchildren, Kiersten Hamilton, Marcus Hamilton, Jr., Allen Bernard Jenkins, Jr.; extended family, Pearl Kinel, Yvette Rutledge, Wanetta Buck; special friend, Pamela Catar of Killeen, TX as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral service for Allen Mann is set for 2 PM on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 Highway 121 Bypass North, Murray. Marcus Hamilton will officiate.
The family welcomes visitors from 1 PM - 2 PM on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the funeral home.
