Teresa Diane Green

Teresa Diane Green, 68, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Princeton Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Princeton, Kentucky. Her battle with dementia is over, and she can rest now in the hands of God.

Teresa was born to the late Deen Dukes and Anna Dodds Dukes on March 13, 1956, in Salem, Kentucky. She was a restaurant cook and cooked for some of the popular eateries in Benton, such as Lacey’s Restaurant and 4 Pigs. Teresa loved fishing, mowing the yard with her husband, Carl, and shopping with her granddaughter, Elizabeth. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Church.

Teresa is survived by her husband of 48 years, Carl Green of Benton; two sons, James Green (Michelle) and Joey Green, both of Benton; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Green.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Ricky Dukes, and her parents, Deen Dukes and Anna Dodds Dukes.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, KY 42025.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann.
