Teresa Ann Perkins, 62, of Hardin, Kentucky, passed away on August 21, 2024, at her home.

Teresa was born in Rockingham, North Carolina, on May 23, 1962, though she always considered herself a Nevada native after moving there at a young age. During high school, she was proud of the time spent serving as one of the flag twirlers and was active in the Drama Club. She later went on to spend many years working in the hospitality department for Skyline Resorts. Teresa loved all genres of music and eventually, pursued this passion of hers even more. After learning to play the piano, she enjoyed taking every opportunity she could to play and sing alongside others or get up at her church to sing. Her overall zest and curiosity led her to pursue learning many things throughout her life, such as karate and even learning Chinese. Teresa was not one to sit at home; she always looked forward to socializing and spending time with others. After moving to Kentucky, she attended Olive Community Church, where she enjoyed Vacation Bible School and their pancake feed.

She is survived by her parents, Marvin and Patricia Leavitt; four daughters, Tami Lynn Lubecky (Joe) of Hardin, Kentucky, Stacy Lewis (Paul) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Jessica Shell and Lisa Ann Shell (fiance, Jesse), both of Salem, Oregon; two sons, Randall Shell (Falisha) of Klamath, Oregon and Trenton Perkins of Arkansas two sisters, Tammy Leavitt and Christina Leavitt both of Overton, Nevada; three brothers, Paul Leavitt (Jessica) of Logandale, Nevada, Michael Leavitt (Catherine) of the Atlanta area, and Daniel Leavitt (Brittany) of Utah; thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
