Ronald Ford, 85, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025, at his residence.
Ronald was born on July 15, 1939, in the Scale area of Marshall County, Kentucky, to the late R.E. Ford and Sally Vasseur Ford. A patriot at heart, Ronald was an honorable Army veteran and an active member of the American Legion Post 236, where his dedication continued with his involvement in the Honor Guard performing Military Rites at Veteran Funeral Services.
An adamant sports enthusiast, Ronald particularly reveled in the triumphs and trials of UK Basketball. He was also an avid reader, always keen to immerse himself in a good book. His love of gardening, tractors, and staying informed on the latest news and stock market trends demonstrated Ronald's active and thriving nature. Those who knew Ronald will remember a man consistently up-to-date on the times yet timeless in his values and the legacy he leaves behind. Those who knew Ronald will remember a man who knew and loved the Lord. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Ronald is survived by one daughter, Teresa Pritchett (Chad) of Benton, Kentucky; and one granddaughter, Bailey Ann Pritchett, also of Benton.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Cox Ford; second wife, Sandra Barrett Ford; two sisters, Bertha Anderson and JoAnn Davis; one brother, Thomas R. Ford; and his parents, R.E. Ford and Sally Vasseur Ford.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, KY 42025.
A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann. Burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery. Bro. Gary Cruse officiating.
