Marty Lee Morefield

Marty Lee Morefield, 57, of Benton passed away on January 1st, 2023 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center.

Marty was born to the late Joel and Rebecca Adair Morefield in Gentryville, Indiana on September 11, 1965. He was a veteran and proudly served in the United States Army. Marty worked as a welder for National Maintenance and Repair. In addition to welding he was known as a jack of all trades and could work on just about anything.

He is survived by one sister, Tammy Morefield of Benton; and three nieces; Brandee Kirk, Savannah Morefield and Stevie Morefield, all of Benton.

Marty was preceded in death by two brothers; Steven Morefield and Wesley Morefield; and his parents.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr with Stephen Kirk officiating. Burial will follow at Union Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 5, 2022 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home.
