Marilyn Snyder Hurley passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026. She was 93 years young.
Marilyn was born in Seneca, Michigan to Herman Dale Snyder and Reva Ione (McComb) Snyder. Marilyn lived many years in Litchfield, Michigan and raised her family there. She was known for her cake decorating and for her ability to grow roses. She worked many years as a shipping clerk and retired from Jonesville Paper Tube. She was active in many clubs and organizations, most notably, the Broad Street Players Theater Group and the Jefferson Jills Extension club. Marilyn was also a caregiver to her parents and moved to Osseo, Michigan to be able to do so as long as she could.
She is survived by three daughters, Reva Dahl and Vicky Linn both of Benton, Kentucky and Connie McCormick of Rutledge, Tennessee; One brother, Wilmer Snyder (Janet) of Loma Linda, California; one aunt, Betty Middleton of Hudson, Michigan; Eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great great grandchildren and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Scott Hurley; one brother, Marvin Eugene Snyder; one sister, Gracelyn McConnell; one grandson, Robert McDonald Jr.; and her 3 sons-in-law, Douglas C. Dahl, "Buddy" Roy Linn Jr., and Maxwell McCormick Sr.
