Lawrence "Wes" Cooper

Lawrence "Wes" Cooper, 57, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at his place of residence. 

Wes was born in California to the late Lawrence Cooper, Sr. and Winnie Kimpton on June 26, 1967. He had a realistic and blunt approach to life and spoke it like it was. Wes was a deer hunter and enjoyed hunting with his dad when he was younger. He was also known as a softy for his cats, whom he absolutely loved.

Wes is survived by his wife of 21 years, Ronda Frink Cooper; one daughter, Tiffany of Texas; two stepdaughters, Amanda Bauers of North Carolina and Amber Deem of Benton, Kentucky; two sons, John Cooper of Texas and Michael Cooper of Arizona, one brother, James Pennington of Oregon; and six grandchildren, Skylar, Brooklyn, Kamden, Kaylynn, Kamryn, and Kylie Griggs.

He was preceded in death by one stepson, David Deem; and his father, Lawrence Cooper, Sr.

There are no services scheduled at this time.
