Kathy Russell Henson

Kathy Russell Henson, age 67, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.
 
Kathy was born in Calvert City, Kentucky on January 24, 1956 to the late Billy and Betty Adams Russell.  She was a member of Faith Apostolic Church.  Kathy loved to spend her free time scrap booking or eating some of her favorite sweets.  She was also a huge sports fan.  Kathy enjoyed bowling and cheering on her beloved Marshall County Marshalls and Kentucky Wildcats.  Above all, she was the most loving wife, mother and grandmother.    
 
Kathy is survived by her husband of 22 years, Jackie Henson of Benton; two daughters, Michelle Harper Owens and Tammi Harper (Shane) James, both of Benton; a son, Jesse Lee Henson of Benton; two sisters, Vicky Russell of Paducah and Diane Baker of Benton; two brothers, Mike (Jennie) Russell of Calvert City and Kenneth (Laura) Russell of Benton; one sister-in-law, Donna Russell; eight grandchildren, Lexi Owens, Brooklyn Owens, Lakyn James, Kylee James, Hailee Henson, Dalton Henson, William Henson and Sophie Henson; and several nieces and nephews. 
 
She is preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Russell, and her parents.    
 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr with Bro. Nathan Ruggles officiating.  Burial will follow at Marshall County Memory Gardens.
 
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the service time of 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
