Ms. Karen DeLois Jones, age 73, of Grand Rivers, KY, passed away at her home on Monday, July 22nd, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Karen was a member of the Potter's House Baptist Worship Center. She was a retiree of Arkema, Inc. after 42 years of service. She also spent a few years as a college professor. Karen loved Jesus Christ and let her light shine through many different ways, including: Sunday School, youth group, and bible school. She coordinated the veterans program at her church for many years and proudly supported Operation Tank Full of Love among many others. Karen was an amazing woman and held many roles, including: daughter, sister, aunt, friend, teacher and devoted, faithful Christian.

She is survived by three nieces, Regina (Tim) Durard of Gilbertsville, Michele (George) Ritchie of Burna, Crystal (Shannon) Osborne of Jonesville; forever-friend, Rosemary Litchfield of Gilbertsville; sister-in-law, Sandra Ferrell of Grand Rivers; great nephews, Jamie (Ali) Martin of Gilbertsville, Chris Martin of Burna, Logan (Mary), Brennon, Canaan and Hayden Osborne, all of Jonesville; great nieces, Laken (Ethan) Travelstead of Benton, Keely Durard of West Paducah; great-great-nieces and nephews, Brooklynn Martin, Jemma Martin, Braylon Travelstead, Molly Martin, Chayden Travelstead, Aubrey Osborne; and many more special friends and family.

Karen was preceded in death by her mother and father, James Ivan "Weeds" and Mary Estell (Hardin) Ferrell; brother, Larry Ferrell; sister, Linda Ferrell.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26th, 2024 at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, KY 42025.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27th, 2024 at the Potter's House Baptist Worship Center in Smithland, KY, with Bro. Andrew Sexton officiating.

Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann is in charge of arrangements.
