Johnny  “Bo” Smith, 62, of Symsonia passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center. 
 Bo was born on January 17, 1960 in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Charlie Preston Smith and Valley Louise Barnette Smith. He spent a little over 20 years  working as a truck driver for J.B. Hunt Transport Services. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed going fishing or spending time at home cooking. Bo attended Gospel Mission Church and anytime he was not able to attend he loved to watch Pastor John Hagee. 
 
 Bo is survived by his wife of 11 years, Sandra Peeler Smith; four daughters, Christina Jewel Smith of Houston, TX, Brandi Nicole O’Neal, Amy Rena Myers, and Shawana Michele Winstead all of Florence, Mississippi; one son, Wyatt Gerald Smith of Petal, Mississippi; four sisters, Cindy Finnegan, Debbie Girouard (David Spinks), Belinda Gomez (Joe), and Tracy Brown (Jason); one brother, James Smith (Marlene); seven grandchildren, Jewel Brown, Ajay Breeden, Brody and Easton Winstead, and Mason, Noah, and Addy Myers; one uncle, Tommy Barnette (Helen); and one aunt, Eddie Harrington.
 
 He was preceded in death by his parents. 
 
 The family will hold a memorial service on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 5:00 PM at Gospel Mission Worship Center. Pastor Jim Wright and Tommy Peeler will officiate.
 
 Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Gospel Mission Worship Center.
