Joel T. Prine, 65, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah.
Joel was born to the late Amzie E. Prine and Anna Belle Bourland Faircloth on July 24, 1959, in Murray, Kentucky. Joel led a fulfilling career as a Land Surveyor, dedicating numerous years to meticulously mapping and understanding the lay of the land. A role that took him across many states and varied terrains before settling in Paducah. Beyond the contours of his professional life, Joel thrived amid the exuberance of sports and the quiet thrill of collecting antiques and other collectibles.
Joel is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debbie Prine of Paducah; two brothers, John Prine (Scarlett) of Groveland, Florida, and James Prine (Melanie) of Paducah; seven nieces and nephews, Jared Prine of Paducah, Chad English (Sammie) of Murray, Seth English (Emily) of Auburn, Kentucky, Rowan Washam of Benton, Kentucky, Jamie Prine Rutledge (Casey) of Reidland, Kentucky, Taylor English (Mark) of Evansville, Indiana, Stella Washam of Benton; and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Amzie E. Prine; his Mother, Anna Belle Bourland Faircloth; and his stepfather, Hilton Faircloth.

There will be no scheduled services, as per Joel’s request.
