Georgianna “Jana” Dechiro, 72, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at her residence in Benton, Kentucky.
Jana was born to the late George Granato and Beatrice Papania Granato on April 25, 1952, in Whittier, California. She made the world brighter with her passion for crafting the most beautiful handmade cards. She was a cherished thread in the fabric of her family, who stood as the great importance of her life. Included in that family tie would be her dogs, who she loved like they were her children.
Jana is survived by her husband of 35 years, John Dechiro; and one brother, Dennis Granato.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Gale and Dianna Wieland; and her parents, George Granato and Beatrice Papania Granato.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky 42025.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann.
