Florence "Flo" Spears

Florence “Flo” Spears, age 82 of Benton, passed away peacefully July 10, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.  Flo was born on August 22, 1939 in Kirksey, KY to Jessie Clay Tucker and Lena Mae Tucker.  She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Larry “Cat” Spears, children Susie Tynes (Keith), of Benton, Kentucky, Cindy Dalton (Joe) of Hendersonville Tennessee; sisters Pernie Travis and Ethel Hendrickson; grandchildren Brandon Tynes, Kayle Sanders (Taylor) , Emily Edwards, Ginny Dalton, Gabe Dalton, and Joseph Dalton; two great grandchildren, McKenna Sanders and Madden Sanders; and her mother Lena Mae Tucker. 
She was preceded in death by her father Jessie Clay Tucker. 
Flo enjoyed a lengthy career with Bennett Motor Express in McDonough, GA and retired as a leading leasing agent. She was a member of Benton Church of Christ, the Eastern Star Briensburg Chapter, and the Harley Owners Group.   In her spare time she loved to work in her vegetable garden, crappie fish, and ride motorcycles. 
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday July 15, 2022 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr with Bro Joel Frizzell officiating.  Burial will follow at Marshall County Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be between 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday July 14, 2022 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM until funeral hours on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home.
