Debrecia Culp Williams, 55, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at her place of residence.

Debrecia was born in Benton, Kentucky, on July 9, 1970, to Louis and Debra Smith Culp. As a proud 1988 graduate of Marshall County High School, Debrecia's nurturing spirit led her to eventually pursue and obtain her CNA License, where her heart of gold could have a positive impact on the lives of others. For years, Debrecia worked at Oakview Nursing Home, touching the lives of countless individuals with her warmth and dedication. Her passion for helping others eventually led her to become a self-employed caregiver, where she could provide even more personalized attention and comfort to those in need. Having been saved and baptized at Sharpe Missionary Baptist Church, she consistently drew strength and faith from her Christian beliefs. Known for having a deep love for the iconic songs of the 80’s, the one thing she loved more than anything else was her family. Nothing brought her more joy than spending precious time surrounded by her entire family, including children and grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Brittany Dowdy (Sean) of Hickory, Kentucky; one son, Jordan Williams (Kinsey Henson) of Calvert City, Kentucky; one sister, Erica Lumson (Michael) of Mayfield, Kentucky; one brother, Kerry Culp (Jennifer) of Calvert City, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Briley Dowdy; and one grandaughter on the way, Lynnlee Williams; her parents, Louis Dean Culp and Debra Smith Culp; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Doug and Kathy Williams.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jerry and Juanita Smith, and Paul and Clara Culp.
