David “Joe” Moore, 65, of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Monday, August 7th, 2023 at Marshall County Hospital.
Joe was born to the late Isaac and Rena Mae Moore on March 3rd,1958 in Marshall County, Kentucky. Joe, also affectionately nicknamed “tennis shoes” was known as a jokester and always had a thing or two to say. He enjoyed working on cars and had his own shop at one time. He was a jack of all trades, but the tree service industry is what held his interest and was how he made his living. Joe was an ordained minister of the Pentecostal faith.
Joe is survived by his wife of 46 plus years, Vanecia Moore; two daughters, Amanda Timmons of Benton and Amy White of Marshall County; two sisters, Wanda Williams (Ed) of Dexter, Kentucky and Donna Teague ( Eddie) of Providence, Kentucky; two brothers, Jerry Dewayne Moore (Gerri), Isaac Houston (Brenda) both of Providence and four grandchildren, Necia Menser, Lillian Camille White, Caleb James Timmons, and Madison Jo Timmons.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ritta “Birdie” Williams, Rebecca “Ann” Whitfield; two brothers-in-law; Dan Williams, Timmy Whitfield and parents.
