Dan Washburn, 64, of Dexter, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Dan was born in Murray, Kentucky, on December 27, 1959, to the late Willis Paul Washburn and Jessie Miller Washburn. He spent many years working as a logger and was no stranger to hard work. Everyone who knew him loved him and he loved them back equally as much. He believed in loving and living life to the fullest at all times. Dan was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by one sister, Becky Cochran (Michael) of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; and three nieces, Amanda Cope, Janet McKendree and Lora Lee Carroll.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda Washburn; two sisters, Phyllis Wilson and Paula Washburn; and his parents.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, KY.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, with Bro. Danny Holt and Bro. Darren Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Hamlet Cemetery.
