Cheryl McLain, 46, of Benton, Kentucky, previously of Jackson, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at her place of residence.
Cheryl was born on May 22, 1978, in Alton, Illinois, to Donald “Mac” McLain and the late Susan McLain. Cheryl loved to cook and brought not just sustenance but also warmth and kindness to the tables she graced as a Sous Chef. Cheryl enjoyed music and could often be found strumming on her guitar. She found great joy in camping and family gatherings where she could dote on her nephews and keep everyone laughing with her great sense of humor.
Cheryl is survived by her life partner, Sue Levigne of Benton, Kentucky; father, Donald “Mac” McLain (Jane) of Jackson, Missouri; one sister, Angela McLain of Branson, Missouri; two brothers, Brian McLain (Rhonda) of Antioch, Tennessee, Chris Naeter of St. Louis, Missouri; and two nephews, Nathan Naeter and Roman Nettles.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan McLain.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
