He completed a B.A. at the University of Michigan, an M.A.T from Oakland University, and an Ed. Sp. from Western Kentucky University. He will be missed by his wife of 34 years, Janice Bennett Erickson. He is also survived by six children, Carl Erickson (Mary), Wendy Mader (Scott), Myron Erickson (Michelle), Pam Riley (Allen), Tamie Hodges (David), and Greg Marret (Bonnie).
