Brenda Allen, 76, of Hardin, Kentucky, gained her wings on January 11, 2025, at her daughter's home surrounded by her loved ones.
Brenda was born in Paducah, Kentucky, on October 20, 1948, to the late Courtney James Fox and Mary Lou Satterfield. As a woman of faith, she loved the Lord and was a member of Olive Missionary Baptist Church. She was also an avid UK Basketball fan and a member of the Olive Homemakers Club. In 2011, she retired from Credit Bureau Systems, Inc. More than anything else, Brenda loved her family. After her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and all of her loved ones.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Ward (Darryl) of Benton; two sisters, Altie Lee (Michael) and Pixie Campbell both of Paducah; two grandchildren, Amber Mathis (Jason) and Kristen Cooper (Jack); four great-grandchildren, Koren Cooper, Ember Cooper, Jacey Mathis, and Alayna Mathis; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Larry Allen; her mother, Mary Lou Satterfield; her father, Courtney Fox; her stepmother, Hattie Fox; and her brother, Ron Humphrey.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, KY.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann. Bro. Robert Chandler will officiate and burial will follow at Fairdealing Cemetery.
