Mrs. Yvonne "Bonnie" Rosalind (Belcher) Ross, 93 of Benton, Kentucky passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Marshall County Hospital in Benton, Kentucky. 

Born Friday, November 9, 1928 in South Haven, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Ottis Belcher and the late Lillian (Broe) Belcher. 

Bonnie was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Virgil J. Ross and sisters, Naomi Gay Davis and Elaine Pence. Surviving are her children, Johnnie Virgil Ross (Vicki) of Woodstock, Georgia; Linda Lee Belt of Pensacola, Florida; Annette Gay Deem (Dave) of Metropolis, Illinois; Colleen Nancy Blackwell (Billy) of Mayfield, Kentucky; Julia Ann Andersen (late husband, Dale) of Gulf Breeze, Florida and Charles Daniel Ross (Net) of Stafford, Virginia; brother, Alan Belcher ( Carol) of Wolverine Lake Village, Michigan and sister, Shirley Godwin (Joe) of Gallipolis, Ohio. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great, great-grandchildren and soon to arrive, 3 great-grandchildren.

She was a mother, homemaker and bookkeeper for Benton Milk Company that she and her husband owned and operated. A very active member of Briensburg United Methodist Church, she taught Sunday School, MYF, assisted with building the Family Life Center and serving children's meals on Wednesday nights. All six of her children were raised in the church, several grandchildren were baptized there, as well. When the church doors were open, the Ross family was there. Additionally, Bonnie loved gardening, cooking and baking, knitting and playing cards or board games with anyone who'd join her. Her chocolate pie is legendary!

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, Kentucky. Reverend Bill Lawson, Reverend Dave Deem and Reverend Joe Godwin will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Marshall County Memory Gardens, Benton, Kentucky.
