William Cory Brown

William Cory Brown, 44, of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at his residence.

Cory was born in Murray, Kentucky on October 11, 1978 to the late Johnny Brown and Linda Wallace Brown.  He worked as a boat repairman for Norman's Marine Service.  Cory was a member of the Paris Landing Fire Department.  He enjoyed being outdoors, reading and wrote several articles published by Fox News.  More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Lynn Brown of Calvert City; two daughters, Haily Schaber (Mike) of Circle Pine, Minnesota and Staralh Brown of Paris, Tennessee; step-daughter, Elyssa Walton and step-son, Danial Walton, both of Calvert City; one sister, Crystal Hinson (Rodney Greer) of Benton; four nieces, Madison Hinson, Kiley Hinson, Kahlan Greer and Shelby Greer; one granddaughter, Savannah Schaber.


He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home with Bro. Rob Bratcher officiating.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the funeral home.
