Tina Lynn Burnett, 65, of Benton, Kentucky passed away on August 18, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Bandana, Kentucky on July 25, 1960, and lived a life full of love, grit, and devotion to her family.

On September 20, 1980, Tina married the love of her life, Danny Burnett. Together they built a life rooted in love, hard work, and laughter on their secluded farm, where many days were spent side by side—riding around together or visiting with neighbors in the garage.

A proud union electrician with IBEW Local 816, Tina proved time and again that there was nothing she couldn’t do. From sewing, cooking, and woodworking to simply lending a hand when something needed fixing, her talents were endless.

She was a devoted mother to Wesley Burnett of Benton, and to her daughter, Christy Burnett, who passed away at the young age of 5. She was also a proud “Mawmaw” to her four grandsons: Colson, Cameron, Carson, and Zaiden Burnett.

Tina was a ball of fire—unfiltered, strong-willed, stubborn at times, and fiercely protective of the ones she loved. She never hesitated to drop what she was doing to care for her family. Whether it was nursing someone back to health, standing up for her loved ones, or cooking a meal that brought everyone together, she gave her whole heart.

Her family and friends will remember her strength, her honesty, her laughter, and her love. She was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 45 years, Danny Burnett; her son, Wesley Burnett (Mandy) of Benton; her grandsons, Colson, Cameron, Carson, and Zaiden Burnett; several siblings; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christy Burnett, and her sister, Marrissa Schulz.

Services to honor Tina’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home, with interment following at Wilson Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the incredible woman she was from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Wilson Cemetery Fund, c/o Carl Stahl, 138 Stahl Rd, Calvert City, KY 42029.
