Thomas "Tom" Williams

Thomas Wayne Williams, 85, of Calvert City, KY went to be with be the Lord on March 13, 2025.

Tom was born on August 2, 1939 in Caruthersville, MO to the late Jacob Edwin and Lorene (Killett) Williams. Tom graduated from Ballard High School in 1957. He dedicated 45 1/2 years of his life at GAF/ISP as a Lab Tech and QQC foreman.

Tom was an avid golfer, hunter, and UK fan. He enjoyed the stock market, sudoku puzzles, driving his 1970 convertible Mustang, and taking naps with his fur baby, Posty. He loved the Lord and was a member of Trace Creek Baptist Church and cherished his Sunday School class.

Survived by his wife of 44 years, Jill Newman Williams; sons, Wayne Williams
(Kris Williams), Bronson Moore Sr.; daughters, Rhonda Williams Howard (Ross), Robyn Bynum Anderson (Randy Duncan), Summer Moore Masterson; grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Amelia, Chloe, Dallas, Savannah, Hunter, Carson, Rosilyn, Rachel, Chaney, Tyler, Trey, Bronson Jr., Jenna, Kendrick, Emerson, Sailor, Bristol; great-grandchildren, Amya, Nate, Aalyah, Sawyer, Silas, Jayce, Addy, Emmit, Elaina, Oakley, Hudson, Kolson, Devrick, Rush, Calvin, and Calynn.

He was preceded in death by parents, Jacob Edwin and Lorene Killette Williams; brother, Jim Williams; sister-in-law, Jane Newman Lovelace; and his first wife, Gladys Walker Williams.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St., Benton KY 42025, with Bro. Ronnie Stinson, Sr., Bro. Ronnie Stinson, Jr., and Kyle Williams Officiating. 

Burial will follow at Calvert City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until the service time of 2:00 P.M. at Collier Funeral Home.
