Thomas "Tom" Marshall Sheppard

Mr. Thomas "Tom" Marshall Sheppard, age 53 of Symsonia, KY died on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.  He was an active member of Clarks River Baptist Church and was the owner of Symsonia Supply.  He was an avid professional shopper who loved auctions and wholesales.

Born Thursday, August 20, 1970 in Paducah, KY, he was the son of the late Joe Sheppard and Patricia "Pat" (Langston) Sheppard.

He is survived by his wife, Dora (Stokes) Sheppard of Symsonia, KY; sons, Dusty Lummus (Amanda Long) of Nashville, TN, Dillon Sheppard (fiance, Michaela Taylor) of Covington, KY; daughters, Courtney Holt (husband, Hunter) of Ledbetter, KY, Emilee Sheppard (Logan Ferrel) of Paducah, KY; mother, Pat Sheppard of Symsonia, KY; brother, Dan Sheppard (wife, Niki) of Paducah, KY.  Also surviving are father-in-law, Marvin Stokes of Calvert City, KY; brother-in-law, Jeff Stokes (wife, Missy) of Calvert City, KY, Kevin Stokes (wife, Evelyn) of Calvert City, KY; sister-in-law, Autumn Anderson (husband, Rhett) of Calvert City, KY; nieces and nephews, Hunter, Cassidy, Jonathan, Jayci, Natalie, Chace, Hunter Cole, Gracie, Jagger, Tyler, Jake, Sarah, Katie, Ryan; and great-nieces and nephews, Presley, Kasen, Cash, Tate, Gabriella, Garrison; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Sheppard, and mother-in-law, Diane Stokes.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Clarks River Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Collins and Jared Baker officiating.

Interment will follow in Clarks River Cemetery, Symsonia, KY.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home.

Additional visitation will be held at Clarks River Baptist Church on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until the service time of 2:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be given to Clarks River Cemetery Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
