Terry Ray

Terry Leon Ray, 78, of Paducah, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at his home.

He was born in Graves County on September 21, 1946 to Millard Ray and Alva Lynch Ray. Terry worked as a self-employed mechanic. He enjoyed any time he was able to spend with his family and had a passion for music. Terry spent his free time performing in his band as the lead singer and playing guitar.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Ray, one son, Barry Ray of Paducah; one daughter, Tina Ray of Paducah; one step-son, Joseph McNeely of Paducah; one step-daughter, April Pettigrew of Mayfield; four grandchildren, Zachary Ray, Barry Ray Jr., Ashley Morrow, and Paul Morrow Jr.; and seven great grandchildren.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Alva Ray; three brothers, Del Ray, Coy Ray, and Tex Avery Ray; and two sisters, Audrey Clark and Brenda Mohler.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home with burial to follow at New Sand Hill Cemetery.

The visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 18th , 2025 at Collier Funeral Home.
