Tammy Jo Waddell

Tammy Jo Waddell, 57 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.

Tammy Jo was born in Sturgis, Kentucky on November 20, 1967 to Charles Franklin "Frank" Waddell and Helen Ruth Nelson Waddell.  She cherished spending time with her grandbabies and beloved dogs, Macy Jo, Coco and Tate.  Tammy Jo also enjoyed riding 4-wheelers.  She was a homemaker and attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Sturgis, KY. 

She is survived by her daughter, Miranda Joiner and husband, Cameron of Benton, KY; her dad, Frank Waddell of Palma, KY; brother, Tim Waddell (Jamie Baumwhite) of Benton, KY; and three grandchildren, Kammy Jo Humphrey, Marlee Kay Elkins and Wyatt Hunter Joiner.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Helen Waddell.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home with the Bro. William Pritchett officiating.  Interment will follow at Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
