Sharon Combs

Mrs. Sharon Combs, age 78 of Benton, KY died on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at her home.  She was a retired from Walmart where she worked as a retail associate in the Jewelry Department.  She was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church.

Born Friday, March 23, 1945 in Marshall Co, KY, she was the daughter of the late Ruby Carl Chambers and the late Della Ravine (Byerly) Chambers. 

Surviving are sons, Mark Combs of Benton, KY, Matthew Combs, wife Ginger of Gilbertsville, KY, daughter, Michelle Blossom, husband Tony of LaVergne, TN, brother, Larry Chambers of Benton, KY, sister, Lisa Runkle of Paducah, KY, and grandchildren, Cole Combs of Benton, KY, Clint Combs of Paducah, KY, and Lauren Combs of Gilbertsville, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charles Lynn Combs.

A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Bro. Kyle McKinney officiating. 

Interment will follow in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
