Russell "Rusty" A. Miller, Jr.

Russell (Rusty) Alton Miller Jr., 47, went peacefully into his heavenly father's arms on November 20, 2022, with his loving wife, children, and loving friends by his side.
 
Rusty was born February 14, 1975, "The day God brought great love into the world I", to Russell Miller and Maryann Wallin of Silver City, NM. 

Rusty found his first love, Jesus, on April of 1983 at First Baptist Church in Kirtland, NM. He graduated from High School in Silver City, NM, early in December of 1992 to join the United States Navy in the spring of 1993. He proudly served as a machinist mate aboard the USS Hartford 768. While in the Navy, he met his best friend and love of his life, Stephanie, whom he married and celebrated 25 years of marriage this past September. They shared their love with their four wonderful children. Alexandria shares her daddy's loving spirit, the ability to care for others, and showing unconditional love. Jacob shares his daddy's strength and the ability to help others in need lovingly. Hannah, kept her daddy on his toes, always seeking knowledge and standing for righteousness. And Jeremiah shares his daddy's soft spirit and ability to bring laughter to everyone around. His family meant the world to him; they were the jewels in his crown. 
 
Rusty graduated with his master's degree in 2020 and was working toward his doctorate in theology. His love for his savior was evident in how he lived his life. He had many special gifts from God and used them to lead others to the savior. He went on to pastor and plant churches throughout the United States. He and his family recently settled in Kentucky while continuing to Lord through Kingdom Purpose Restoration ministry. 

Rusty was preceded in death by Alton and Grace Miller, his paternal grandparents, Edsel and Carrie Wallin his maternal grandparents, hid Uncle Don and Uncle Floyd, and his stepsister Kodi and her daughter Kylie. He was also preceded by his spiritual mom, "Momma" Georgianna.

Rusty is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Stephanie. Their four children, Alexandria, Jacob, Hannah, and Jeremiah, from Symsonia, KY. His mother, Maryann Wallin of Carlsbad, NM. His father, Russell Miller, and wife, Wanda, of Farmington, NM. His sister Katherine Ann (Kitty) Peters and her husband Benny of Carlsbad, NM. His brother Skylar Miller and Katie of Benson, AZ. With his in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends who have become family. 

There will be no services or visitation at this time.

All arrangements are be handled through Collier Funeral Home and Crematory Services.
