Ronald Darnell

Ronald Darnell, 83, of Kirksey, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at his residence.

Ronald was born in Marshall County on August 14, 1939 to the late Hoy and Nova Houser Darnell. 

He is survived by his daughter, Christie Darnell (Ernest Cannon); two sons, Adam Darnell (Katana) and Jeff Darnell, all of Kirksey; three grandchildren, Joshua Darnell, Jacob Darnell and Paige Lea Cannon; one great-granddaughter, Daelynn Davis.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Phyllis Potts Darnell; one son, Rodney Darnell; one sister, Mary Jo Anderson; his parents and a grandson, Alex Davis.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 26, 2022 at New Zion Cemetery with Pastor April Arnold officiating. 

There will be no public visitation.

Collier Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
