Richard Crenshaw

Richard Benjamin Crenshaw, 80, of Calvert City passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at The Stilley House in Benton.

Richard was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on April 8, 1944 to William Andrew Crenshaw and Aileene Terry Montgomery. He was of the Methodist faith and was a proud United States Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam. Richard was the longtime owner and operator of Jackson Purchase Two Way Radio. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and boating, and loved golfing any chance he got. Richard was naturally creative and appreciated beautiful art and playing guitar.

 He is survived by one son, Ben Crenshaw (Devon) of Indiana; two daughters, Leslie White (Nathan) of Benton and Mary Crenshaw of Calvert City; two brothers, William Montgomery Crenshaw of Lebanon, Tennessee and Joe Terry Crenshaw of Munfordville, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Kaye Crenshaw and his parents.

There will be no funeral services at this time.
