Paul Starke

Paul Allen Starke, 84, of Benton, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 at Oakview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born in New Jersey on February 5, 1940. Paul worked as a computer programmer for the Department of Defense and was a proud United States Army Veteran. He was a member of St. Peter's of The Lakes Episcopal Church. He enjoyed keeping busy by running, reading, and completing math puzzles.

Paul is survived by his grandson, Josh (Leeann) Linson of Benton and two grandchildren, Tanner and Grayson Linson.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Helen Zachow Starke; two daughters, Rosemarie Ruth Starke and Kui Sook Linson; two brother, Bruce and Hugh Starke; and his granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Linson.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Henry's Catholic Church Cemetery.

The visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home.
