Nancy Sharon Langston

Mrs. Nancy Sharon Langston, age 76 of Gilbertsville, KY died on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY.  

Nancy was a waitress at Howard Johnson's in Michigan and worked at CTS in Paducah. She was the owner of Lake Holiday Motel & Lake Holiday Motel 2 and Clean Earth Recycling in Gilbertsville. She loved playing bingo and was the bingo chairman for the Draffenville Lion's Club where all the proceeds went to charity. Nancy also enjoyed playing cards, watching tv, listening to George Jones and Elvis, and loving on her shitzus, ZhuZhu and Hannah. 

Born Friday, February 8, 1946 in Paris, TN, she was the daughter of the late Archie Patterson and the late Barbara (Dinning) Patterson. 

Surviving are sons, Edward Levi "Eddie" Langston of Fairdealing, KY, Darrell Ray Langston of Gilbertsville, KY; daughters, Laura Ann Langston Walters husband Clarence of Gilbertsville, KY, Deborah Faye "Debbie" Langston Dycus husband Robert of Gilbertsville, KY; 5 grandchildren, Briar Dycus, Cory Dycus wife Shanay, Casey Walters wife Ashley, Brittany Langston Bennett husband Jordan, Larissa Walters Smock husband G.W.; and 5 great-grandchildren, Addy Walters, Aiden Walters, Jayden Hobbs, Brynlee Smock and Gage Smock.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ray Langston.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Bro. Roger Rice and Bro. Lynn McWherter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Marshall County Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Collier Funeral Home.
