Nancy Maupin

Nancy Maupin, 87 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025 at her home.

Nancy was born in Marshall County, Kentucky on June 19, 1938 to the late Vinson Edwards and Elizabeth Jackson Edwards.  She enjoyed solving word searches, reading, going out to eat and shopping, especially for shoes.  She was a loving wife, caring mother and "granny G" to all her grandkids as well as other children.  Nancy was a member of Central Church.

She is survived by her two daughters, Belinda Gipson and Ellen York, husband, Randy, all of Benton, KY; brother, David Edwards, wife, Priss of Searcy, AR; sister, Pam Bruce, husband, Randy of Benton; nine grandchildren, Beth Mathis (Jason), Seth Coble (Misty), Lisette James (Eric), JT Jones (Lori), Nancy Hughes (Jessica), Brian York (Kaycee), Blake York (Ashley), Aabby Risley (Kyle), Johnny M. Gipson; nineteen great-grandchildren and seven great, great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Maupin; daughter, Lisa Jones; brother, Michael Edwards; and her parents.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home with Nathan Pirtle and Brian York officiating.  Interment will follow at Edwards Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
