Nancy F. Boyd

Nancy F. Boyd, 83 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at her home.

Nancy was born in Bloomington, Illinois on June 1, 1942 to the late Roy E. Givens, Sr. and Mildred Page Givens.  She worked for FW Woolworth for over 30 years, starting as a candy girl in Chicago, IL then transferring to Bloomington, IL where she retired as a bookkeeper.  Nancy was also an Eastern Star and loved all animals.  She was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.  

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Carl E. Boyd, Sr.; son, Chad E. Boyd of Champaign, IL; two brothers, William Givens (Bonnie) of Bloomington, IL and Ben Givens (Barbara) of Los Angeles, CA; and one grandson, Adam Boyd.

She was preceded in death by her son, Carl E. Boyd, Jr.; three brothers, Roy E. Givens, Jr., Robert Givens and Richard Givens; and her parents.

A funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Capps and Rev. Bill Lawson officiating.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
