Melba Sherline Lovett

Melba Sherline Lovett, 88 of Benton, KY died on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Tri Star Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Born Wednesday, October 2, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Halford Brown and the late Gladys (Hicks) Brown. She was the wife of the late Leon Lovett.

Sherline was a homemaker and a longtime member of Hardin Church of Christ. She was currently attending Walnut Grove Church of Christ.

Surviving are sons, Lonnie Lovett of Benton, KY and Gary Lovett of Benton, KY, daughter, Tia Lovett of Benton, KY, brother, Lynn Brown of Largo, FL, sister, Glada Dodd of Murray, KY, four grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Larry Brown.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Hardin Church of Christ with the David Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Hardin Church of Christ.
