Mary "Sue" Lovett

Mary "Sue" Lovett, 94 of Benton, Kentucky died on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at The Stilley House in Benton, Kentucky.

Born Monday, January 14, 1929, in Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Willie Watkins and the late Ermon Morgan  Watkins. She was a member of the Fairdealing Church of Christ.

Surviving are son, Kerry Lovett (Lesa) of Benton, KY; daughter, Sherry Wilkins of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Michelle York (Ken), Holly Moore (Dale) and Scott Lovett (Ami); great grandchildren, Amanda Ross (Justin), Dustin York (Jessica), Nate Moore and Tess Moore; great great grandchildren, Braxton York, Jackson York and Weston York and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Louis Lovett; a son, Michael Lewis Lovett; brothers, Glenn Watkins, Cleaver Watkins, Delsie Watkins and Eulos Watkins, sister, Francis Norwood and son-in-law Hollis Wilkins..

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Collier Funeral Home Chapel with Gene Gilliand officiating.

Burial to follow at Olive Cemetery in the Olive Community.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collier Funeral Home, Inc. located at 211 West 5th Street, Benton, KY 42025.
