Mary Lou Smith

Mary Lou Smith, 95 of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, Kentucky.

Born Monday, March 25, 1929 in Benton, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late James Howard and the late Cuba Cline  Howard. 

Surviving are son, Joel Smith (Debra) of Calvert City, KY, sister, Loretta Trabucco (Larry) of Calvert City, KY; daughter-in-law Debbie Smith: grandchildren, Alan Smith (Kristie), Robby Smith (Kristi), Megan Dowdy (David), and Brent Smith; and several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Edwin Smith; brothers, Charles Ray Howard and James  William Howard and sister, Doris  Sue Howard.

A graveside service will be held at Marshall County Memory Gardens - McNatt Section on Friday, December 6, 2024 with Bro. Chris Moore officiating.

The family has requested that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society; 375 Kings Highway North, Suite B Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
