Mary Elizabeth Winters

Mary Elizabeth Winters, age 77, of Calvert City, KY, died Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY. Ms. Winters was a homemaker and a member of Calvert City Church of Christ. 

She was the daughter of the late James E. Appleton and the late Elvena (Walker) Appleton.

She is survived by two sons: Kevin Wyatt and wife Tasha of Paducah, KY; Derek Wyatt and wife Brittany of Calvert City, KY; one brother: Dennis Appleton of Calvert City, KY; one sister: Peggy Appleton of Calvert City, KY; and five grandchildren: Haley Wyatt Fox, Madilyn Wyatt, Blake Wyatt, Clayton Wyatt, and Addisyn Wyatt.

Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 14, 2025.  Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 14, 2025, with Lance Cordle officiating. Interment will be at Dixon Cemetery, Grand Rivers, KY.
