Lia Marielle Thompson

 Lia Marielle Thompson, 49 of Benton, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at her home.

Lia was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on July 29, 1975 to Sonny Rommelman and Marilyn McGinnis Rommelman. 

She worked as a dental hygienist and was a member of Benton Church of Christ. 

Surviving are her parents; son, Ryder Thompson of Benton, KY, daughter, Rylee Thompson of Benton, KY, brothers, Monte Rommelman (Kim) of Paducah, KY, Eric Rommelman (Rebecca) of Pylesville, MD, Michael McGuire (Heidi) of Hampton, GA and Cory McGuire (Angie) of Walterboro, SC, and sister, Sharon Gupton of Columbia, KY.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Benton Church of Christ Cemetery with Mark Ray officiating.

There will be no public visitation.
