Kathleena M. Atkins

Mrs. Kathleena M. Atkins, age 60 of Benton, KY passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at her home.  

Born Monday, August 17, 1964 in Anderson, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late John Misner and the late Geneva (Izoma)  Misner. She was loved by all of her family, most especially her grandchildren who affectionately called her "Nana".

Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Jerry Atkins of Benton, KY, sons, Adrian Misner (Shelia) of Palmyra, MO and Chris Beecham of Benton, KY, daughters, Jessica Beecham of Benton, KY and Kerie Jones (Tommy) of Benton, KY, brother, Johnny Misner of Murray, KY, grandchildren, Paisley Edmond, William Edmond, Elizabeth Edmond, Kyleigh Dripps, Haydin Beecham, Braydin Beecham, Shawn Misner, Luke Misner, and Noah Bechard.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael Misner.

A Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Bro. Mike Farmer officiating. 

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home.
