June Duckett

June Ann Krankel Duckett, age 63 of Calvert City, passed away Tuesday, August 1,2023 at Baptist Health Paducah.

June was born on September 9,1959 in St. Louis, MO to John Clarence Krankel and Nora Jane Reed Krankel. She worked as a construction gate security guard at a chemical plant and attended Lakeland Baptist Temple.

June loved any time she was able to spend surrounded by her family and friends, especially playing bingo and card games.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Wayne Duckett; two daughters, Lacey Duckett and Stephanie Adams (Bruce), both of Calvert City; two brothers, Johnny Krankel (Paula) of Carmi, IL and Steve Krankel (Marilyn) of Alton, IL; two sisters, Debby Burgess of Bethalto, IL and Pam Wyatt of Illinois; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

June was preceded in death by her parents.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Marshall County Humane Society in memory of June Duckett at 6301 US 68 Benton, KY 42025.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday, August 4,2023 at Collier Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 4,2023 at Fooks Cemetery.
