Jasmine Deighan McCormick

Jasmine Deighan McCormick, 32, of Benton passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

She was born in Murray, KY on October 22, 1992 to James McCormick and Donna Phillips Thompson. Jasmine attended New Zion Baptist Church and was a cook at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was a dedicated mother and always put her kids first. Her most favorite things were her family, spending time with them laughing, loving, always photo bombing everyone, and her Five Star coffee. Her laugh and love would light up the room. Jasmine was contagious!

Her passions included being a mom, painting, writing, and watching documentaries and keeping up with how to make the world a better place.

Jasmine will be greatly missed by her three children, Kori Jayden Elizabeth McCormick, Chevy James Adam McCormick, and Memphis Kaleb McCormick; her mother, Donna E. Thompson and David Hamby; her father, James McCormick; four brothers, Craig (Courtney) Thompson; Corey "Cupcake" Thompson, Nolan Phillips, and Dustin Hamby; sister, Valerie Parker; nieces and nephews (who called her "Aunt Chi"), Bella Hartig, Paislee Pendergrass, Dixie Thompson, Phillip Thompson, Addy Hamby, and Alice Phillips; her significant other, Bobby Singleton; and her best friend, Kara Lampley.

Memorial contributions made be made in Jasmine's memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation National Headquarters 6520 N. Andrews Ave Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2132.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home with Joe Clark officiating.

The visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home.
