James "Wormy" R. Knight

James "Wormy" R.  Knight, 79 of Fredonia, Kentucky, formerly of Marshall County, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 at his residence. 

James was born in Paducah, Kentucky on May 3, 1945 to the late Rollie R. Knight and F. Christine (Owens) Knight. Before retiring, he worked as an owner/operator for Rex N Don Trucking Company for 45 years. 

He is survived by his significant other, Reneta Stevenson of Fredonia, KY; sons, James Ross Knight of Fort Smith, AK,  Franklin Stevenson of Benton, KY; daughters, Makayla Gayhe of Ballard County, KY, Charlotte  Renea Heredia of Ocala, FL, Gayla Freeman of Mayfield, KY; sister, Louise Greggs of Calvert City, KY; and seven granchildren, Marcus Fox, III, Joleigha Fox, Katelyn Dublin, Cameron Dublin, Nolen Stevenson,  Halle Stevenson, and Olivia Heredia, 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Betty McNeil.
