James Lewis Arnett

Mr. James Lewis Arnett, age 87 of Benton, Kentucky died on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at his home.  He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.  He was retired from the City of Benton Maintenance Department, and was a veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by his wife, Jerlene (Green) Arnett of Benton, KY and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Opal (Bouland) Arnett, brothers, Billy Arnett and Lonnie Arnett, and sisters, Ethel Lou Haley, Sue Smith and Polly Kalor.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Robert McKinney officiating. 

Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home.
