Harold "Bine" Travis

Harold "Bine" Travis, 77 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at his home.

Harold was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on February 22, 1947 to the late John Travis and Lava Thorn Travis.  He served our country in the United States Army.  Harold owned and operated Travis Used Cars and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing.  

He is survived by his son, Brian Travis and wife, Shelby; daughter, Kim Cain and husband, Craig, all of Benton; two brothers, John "Prentice" Travis of Hardin and Gerald Travis of Paducah; one sister, Sue Beard of Hardin; four grandchildren, Kayla Bragg, Lava Travis, Justin Cain, Zach Cain; four great-grandchildren, Greyson, Lincoln, Peyton and Riley Bragg.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ozene Travis and Bobby Travis; and his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery, Hardin, KY.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 2024 at Collier Funeral Chapel, 211 West 5th St., Benton, Kentucky.
