Felecia Gipson

Felecia Fay McKendree Gipson, 65, of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.

Felecia was born on September 9, 1957 to Jimmy and Helen McKendree. She worked at the Benton Pharmacy for over 20 years. Felecia will be remembered as a funny and thoughtful woman who loved hard. More than anything, she loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Pleasant Hope Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Larry Gipson of Benton; two sons, Larry Daniel Gipson of Benton and Dustin Ray Gipson, wife, Emily of Murray; her mother, Helen Dean Clark McKendree; two sisters, Bonita McKendree Baker of Symsonia and Tammy McKendree Gamble of Benton; several grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Dale McKendree.

Per Felecia's wishes, there will be no public visitation.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Hamlet Cemetery.
