Elizabeth Evelyn Jordan

Elizabeth Evelyn Jordan, 97 of Benton, KY died on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, KY.

Born Monday, June 27, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Randolph Downing and the late Lalah (Dunn) Downing.

She was a cook at the Dinner Bell and a member of Hardin Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son in law, Phillip Wyatt of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Amy Nelson (Greg) of Benton, KY, Scott Wyatt (Staci) of Paragould, AR, Dr. Todd Wyatt (Heather) of Searcy, AR; and great grandchildren, Tyler Nelson, Seth Nelson, Anna Marie Wyatt, Bryson Wyatt, Collin Wyatt, Dylan Wyatt, Lainey Wyatt, Landon Wyatt and Ethan Wyatt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Bryan Jordan; daughter, Bonita Kay Wyatt; and her siblings.

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025 with David Smith officiating.

Interment will be in Murray Memorial Gardens, Murray, KY.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Collier Funeral Home.
