Dwain Fisk

Carol Dwain Fisk, 88 of Brewers, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, Kentucky.

Dwain was born in Benton, Kentucky on February 11, 1936 to the late Colvin Fisk and Esther Smith Fisk.  He was a farmer and worked as a butcher at King Brothers Supermarket for 41 years.  Dwain enjoyed farming, raising cattle and bird hunting.  He was a lifelong member of New Harmony Baptist Church where he was a trustee and served on pulpit committee's for many years.  

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty Lamb Fisk; daughter, Suzanne Mattingly and husband, Rob of Brewers; daughter-in-law, Sue Fisk of Benton; one brother, Lanny Fisk and wife, Ellen of Benton; one sister, Sharon Watkins and husband, Gene of Benton; four grandchildren, Rebecca Peek of Paducah, Elizabeth Smith (Garrett) of Brewers, Daniel Mattingly of Benton and Katherine Fisk of Benton; two great-granddaughters, Emmaline and Elaina Smith.

He was preceded in death by his son, David Karl Fisk; three brothers, Bob Fisk, Marshall Fisk and Sammy Fisk; and one sister, Gwen Bell.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at New Harmony Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Penick officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at New Harmony Baptist Church, 4817 Symsonia Hwy, Benton, Kentucky 42025.
